Civil police officers today (3) serve 29 arrest warrants and 28 search and seizure warrants against suspected involvement in the sale of illicit drugs in the state of Rio. According to the Civil Police, the criminal group, which operates in the capital and in Angra dos Reis, in the south of the state, has sought to expand its territorial control to the city of Mangaratiba, also in the south of the state.
Operation Ablatio fulfills warrants in the communities of Faz Quem Quer, in the north of Rio, Conceição do Jacareí, in Mangaratiba, Sapinhatuba and Monsuaba, in Angra dos Reis.
According to the Civil Police, investigations found a growing migratory flow of criminals from Rio and Angra to the district of Conceição do Jacareí, to consolidate control over the sale of illicit drugs in the locality.
The group is suspected of committing other crimes, such as theft of vehicles, cargo, commercial establishments and the street.
