The Police, under the coordination of the Ministry of the Interior and Police, launched the “Dominicana se Transforma” initiative and the training of transformation tables based on leadership in values.
A note highlights that through activities and training, “the program seeks to promote values, cause a positive change in society.

It details that the training program for agents began on Wednesday and continues until tomorrow, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and in the afternoon from 3:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Vice Minister of the Interior and Police, Jesús Féliz, representing the Minister Jesús Vásquez Martínez; the director of International Relations of “Dominicana se Transforma”, María Denisse Valdez; the person in charge of Public Relations of the Interior and Police, Raquel Rodríguez; the Director of Strategic Communications of the National Police, Colonel Diego Pesqueira and the Deputy Director, Lieutenant Colonel Gabriel Mercedes.

Vice Minister Féliz said that the activity seeks to professionalize all the members of the institution so that they are more credible, that they guarantee the life and property of citizens.

“Transforming the Police implies that their entities, their individualities have strong values ​​in ethical terms and assume leadership so that the population sees them differently.”
