Upon receiving the alert, police units rescued the driver of a taxi, after individuals pretended to be passengers to rob him, in Vacamonte, a road that leads to the port, in the district of Arraiján.
Deputy Commissioner Omar Buitrago, Head of the Arraiján Police Zone, indicated that the taxi vehicle was located on the road to Puerto Vacamonte, and upon verification the driver was found inside the trunk. The case is referred to the corresponding authorities.
The National Police are maintaining operations in the sector to locate those suspected of being linked to this incident.
