Georgia Arrúa, a national senator for the Patria Querida party (PPQ), called for a new postponement of the police reform law. She reported that the work with the Police Headquarters has already been completed, but there are still no recommendations or suggestions for modifications from the Ministry of the Interior.
The postponement will be until August 18 as the deadline to receive the modifications and August 25 for the treatment of the project before the plenary session. This is the law of “Reform and Modernization of the National Police”.
