Police recover minor reported missing in Barú

The National Police, through the National Directorate of Judicial Investigation, managed to recover an infant who had been reported missing through an Amber Alert in the district of Barú, on Saturday, August 10 of this year.

The recovery of the minor took place in a residence located in the Cuesta de Piedra sector in the Tierras Altas district, where at the time of the police intervention, an adult fled leaving the minor in the house, being transferred by the Investigation units for medical attention.

The National Police appreciates the quick collaboration of citizens. Meanwhile, operational actions are maintained in order to locate the adult allegedly involved in the kidnapping of the child.
