The National Police presented this Thursday morning, September 8, the three alleged perpetrators of the murder of the 7 and 10-year-old girls, which occurred on Friday night, September 2, in Ciudad Belén, Managua.
The main suspects are Alfredo Antonio Lara Ortiz, 19 years old, Alison Yahoska Salgado Rugama, 18 years oldY a 16 year oldAlison’s brother. The defendants lived five houses from where the victims resided.
General Commissioner Jaime Vanegas, Inspector General of the Police, explained that the post-mortem examination determined that the girl with initials IJU, 7 years old, was killed by mechanical asphyxiation (suffocation), and her little sister MJU, 10 years old, due to severe cranioencephalic trauma caused with a blunt object and presents green ecchymosis in the pubic region.
The crime was committed in the house of the alleged femicides, house L-07, where a criminal investigation was carried out, revealing the presence of human blood in the living room and in the bedroom of the young man with initials AESR, 16 years old. A piece of block and a piece of blue towel used to commit the crime were also found in the bedroom, the police said.
In the vacant lot where the lifeless bodies of the girls were found on Monday, September 5, a multicolored fabric mattress, white strips of fabric, a piece of white duplex wire were used as evidence, and samples of body fluids.
The witnesses report that the three alleged criminals washed the house in the morning hours of the day after the disappearance of the minors.
During the press conference, the National Police exposed the identity of an uncle of the initial victims SAIwhom he presented to government media as a witness to the crime.

“I am very hurt, saddened by the tragedy that has occurred within our family. I learned about the disappearance of the girls through my family and we carried out the search. All the residents of Ciudad Belén suspected the three detained subjects. When we arrived at the house (of the suspects), in search of the missing girls, they did not want to give us information, rather they got angry and I noticed that the house was being washed and that made me more suspicious, “said the relative.
“I am asking for justice so that the authors pay,” he demanded.
The victims had three months of having arrived in the capital. The family, of the Miskito ethnic group, is originally from the Walakitang community of Río Coco, in Wiwilí, department of Jinotega, and came to Managua in search of work. In Ciudad Belén they rented a house, the uncle of the minors recently said. The father and mother of the girls lived there, the two minors and their little brothers of 4 years and 11 months.

Girls disappeared after the visit of their neighbor in Ciudad Belén
The National Police reported that on Saturday, September 3, they received the complaint from the mother of the girls for the disappearance of their daughters, which occurred at 8:57 on the night of Friday, September 2, when both minors left the their home after a 10-year-old neighbor came looking for them.
The neighbor with the initials RCSR, apparently a relative of the suspects, lives with her 61-year-old grandmother near the home of the accused. The youngest came looking for the little sisters to go to a vigil. The mother denied them permission, closed the door and went to sleep.

When he woke up two hours later, he realized that his daughters were not at home, so he went to look for them at the vigil that was being held a block away, around 10:30 at night. He did not find them and returned to the house. At about one in the morning, he went to look for them again at the vigil until the activity ended; not finding them, he arrived at the house of the RCSR neighbor, where he talked with the grandmother, “who told him that the little girls were not at home and that she did not know anything about them.”
On Monday, September 5, at 8 p.m., in a vacant lot located in Ciudad Belén, the minors were found dead.
