Police offer $10 million reward for those responsible for massive robbery on Monserrate hill

After a massive robbery took place this Thursday morning in the vicinity of the Monserrate hill, the Metropolitan Police of Bogotá announced that it offers a reward of up to $10 million for anyone who provides information leading to the capture and prosecution of those responsible.

Additionally, they reported that the security device will be reinforced in this sector of the city, starting this Friday and will start operating from 5:00 in the morning.

These measures were announced by the Secretary of Security, Coexistence and Justice, Aníbal Fernández de Soto, and the commander of the Bogotá Metropolitan Police, Colonel Herbert Benavides, after being present on the hill of Monserrate.

For his part, Colonel Herbert Benavides, stated that once the case was known the complaints of the victims were received and, immediately, an investigative team of the Judicial Police and Intelligence was ordered to initiate the investigations.
