Units of the National Police announced that they managed to apprehend four people at the Santa Rita checkpoint, in the district of La Chorrera, including an alleged collaborator of the farm where six cattle were stolen.
They reported that everything happened after retaining two pick-up cars with bodywork, where several cattle of dubious origin were transported, since they could not verify that they were their property.
In one of the vehicles there were four cattle and in another two, valued at 18 thousand dollars. Through the coordination it was possible to determine that the animals are related to a theft complaint registered on a farm in the district of La Arenosa.
In association with the Public Ministry, the cattle are delivered to their true owner and the apprehension of people suspected of livestock theft is ordered, all were taken for a hearing.
