Agents of the National Police shot dead a man that moments before he would have wounded his girlfriend with a bullet, in an incident that occurred in the Pueblo Nuevo sector of San Francisco de Macorís.
The deceased was identified as Jhonny Hernandez Corcinowho died from multiple gunshot wounds.
The man was wanted by members of the uniformed after He fired two bullets at Alexandra Rodríguez. The woman is receiving medical care at a private health center in San Francisco de Macorís. Her condition is delicate.
According to the police report, the incident occurred around 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
