At around 4:00 am this Friday, National Police units foiled an assault on the residence of an elderly couple, in the Altos de La Cresta sector.
These people had entered the house, where they were gagged. The uniformed men capture one of those involved in this assault, he is wounded with a firearm in the leg; him when he tries to attack the police unit and later flee.
Deputy Commissioner Elmer Caballero, head of the San Francisco Police Zone, said that the two older adults are stable.
The belongings they were trying to take were recovered, and this person was placed under the orders of the corresponding authorities.
The National Police continues with the operations in search of the other person and a possible firearm.
