Police fire shots during a riotous fight in Santa Clara

MIAMI, United States. — A fight in the County district of the city of Santa Clara would have ended with one individual dead and several injured, according to reports on social networks.

The incident began after the owners of a house were going to remove a family that had occupied their property.

Sources consulted by CubaNet They assure that the incident occurred in front of “La Latina”, a commercial establishment located on Estrada Palma and Ciclón streets.

The violent events forced the agents of the National Revolutionary Police (PNR) to intervene and fire shots into the air to stop the fight, in which an older adult would have died from a machete wound.

Images shared on Facebook by the journalist Mario J. Pentón show another individual on the ground with a wound in the lower part of the chest, without further details being known so far.

Witnesses to the event assured on social networks that several people were arrested after the incident.
