Police dismantle warehouse of stolen vehicle parts

A store clandestine dedicated to the collection and marketing of parts stolen from vehicles on public roads, located in the sector Villa Maria, of the National District, was dismantled during an operation carried out by the National Police.

This was reported by the entity through a press release, in which he indicated that the intervention It took place on Máximo Grullón street and José Martí corner.

“Upon arriving at the place, several people present undertook the flightmanaging to escape,” the institution detailed.

He said that during the inspection, a large number of parts of vehiclessuch as hoods, mirrors, windshields and trim, stored in boxes and bags for illegal marketing.

He added that the warehouse was operated by a man whom he identified as Eduar Pérez, who is now actively sought by the authorities.

The parts confiscated will be sent to the Prosecutor’s Office Community of Capotillo for the corresponding legal purposes.
