The police director, Major General Ramón Antonio Guzmán Peralta, ordered changes in different directions and specialized areas of the institution, in order to continue strengthening citizen security in the country.
The statement explains that among the designations is that of General Werner Núñez Quezada as the new central director of Internal Affairs, replacing the General Ramón Ramírez Encarnación, who in turn happens to direct the Southeast Regional Directorate (SPM), replacing the general Wandy Made Montilla.
He adds that in relation to General Núñez Quezada his designation was made by President Luis Abinader, through Decree 45-25 dated January 28 of this year.
It details that the willingness of Major General Guzmán Peralta also includes the designation of General Made Montilla as the new East Regional Director, with a seat in La Romana, replacing General Juan Pablo Ferreira Veras, who will in turn will perform the functions of Regional Director La Vega, since General Julio César Betances Hernández occupied.

It specifies that Betances Hernández goes from now on to perform the functions of the director of the Air Committee, replacing Colonel Eddy Made Montilla and that he was appointed, central director of Intelligence (Dintel), replacing General Núñez Quezada, who He went to the Central Directorate of Internal Affairs.
While General Juan Hilario Guzmán Badia, deputy general director of the National Police, was appointed Central Director of Police Transformation, (recently created), in addition to his other functions.
Other designations in the Police
While General Juan Gautreaux Martínez was appointed director of the Cybersecurity Area, (recently created). The designations also cover General Rufino Contreras Ruiz, who will be the Director of the Anti -Pondillas area, replacing General Francisco Torres Dotel, who in turn was appointed Link II between the Ministry of Defense and the General Directorate, in Substitution of General Licurgo Yunes Pérez.
While Colonel Gabriel Antonio de los Santos García was appointed Central Regional Director of the District, replacing General Frank of the Saints Encarnación, who in turn will perform the functions of the West Regional Director, with a seat in San Juan, replacing the Colonel Luis Simón Castaños and he was appointed Regional Director Espaillat, replacing the Colonel of the Saints Garcia.
The new designations also cover Colonel Jhonny Soto Abreu, as regional regional director with a seat in Baní, replacing Colonel Juana Almonte Martínez, which goes to direct the Anti -Red and Sonic Pollution Area, replacing Colonel Soto Abreu.
