MIAMI, United States. — The Cuban Police would have arrested a man suspected of being involved in the case of the young woman from Villa Clara Yeniset Rojas Pérez, who has disappeared since March 2021.
The news was confirmed by the digital portal Cuban newspaperwho obtained the information through one of Rojas’s relatives.
Giselle Sobrino, Yeniset’s sister-in-law, assured the independent media that the versions circulating on social networks about the supposed discovery of the lifeless body of the disappeared woman are false and that the only certainty is that the Police have a suspect.
“Everything is a lie. There is no body or anything. Police have one suspect, only, and are investigating. But we still haven’t heard from Yeniset,” Sobrino told Cuban newspaper.
Resident of Ranchuelo, Yeniset Rojas Pérez was last seen at eleven o’clock in the morning of March 18, 2021 in that municipality in the province of Villa Clara. She was then 33 years old. The case was reported to the Police 24 hours later.
“He left his job looking for his daughter to take her to school and never came home,” recalled his mother, Iraina Pérez Valdés, at the beginning of last October.
