The bullring located in the municipality of La Concepción, Masaya, was temporarily closed by order of the Police Commissioner General Juan Valle Valle, after one of the stands of the barrier collapsed, leaving 27 citizens injured.
The preliminary report of the Police indicates that the injured are five men, 17 women, four boys and one girl, all the minors are between the ages of 2 and 15 years. Through a video circulating on social networks, it can be seen that citizens are standing in the stands enjoying bullfights to the sound of philharmonic music, when suddenly the stands fall.

The video also shows several minors in the place who were being carried in their arms and were also hit by the overflow of people, while some of those present took the moment as a mockery.
In addition, the Police opened an investigative process to determine who or who are responsible for the collapse of part of the stands of the barrier, where the bullfight was taking place on Sunday afternoon.
According to official media, Valle Valle would have ordered that the bull barrier can only open its doors to the public “until all security measures are provided.”
Local media reported that most of those treated suffered minor injuries, but seven of them were transferred to the Santiago Regional Hospital, in Jinotepe, Carazo, due to possible fractures mainly in the lower limbs.
The residents of the area now request the authorities to continuously inspect the barrier facilities to avoid more accidents of this type where minors were affected. In the municipality popularly known as La Concha, the patron saint festivities of the Virgin of Montserrat are currently celebrated.
