Police checkpoint leaders detained four police officers

Four police officers were detained by prisoners from the Detention Center of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) located in La Morita, Santiago Mariño municipality, Aragua state, according to sources.

The violent action is led by the leaders of a gang that operates within the aforementioned police checkpoint known as Alejandro de Mariara and Winston, a source explained.

The detained uniformed officers are: Katerin Vargas, Rubén Rojas, Saulo Kiñones and Darwin Alvarado. The leaders demand to be transferred to the Tocorón prison, from where they run the criminal organization Tren de Aragua, according to the sources.
