The National Police captured Hancer Manuel Lantigua Pérez (a) “La Bolanta” and/or “El Gatillero”, identified as the alleged perpetrator of the shooting that left six people injured during a conflict that occurred at a clandestine party (teteo) in the sector. The Hainamosa PinesSanto Domingo Este municipality, on October 23.
According to the police report, Lantigua Pérez would have shot with a firearm that he was carrying illegally, after a heated argument arose between several attendees at the event, which took place in the middle of a public street while heavy rains fell caused by storm Melissa.
The accused was arrested in response to arrest warrant No. 530-2025-EMES-02685.
At the time of his arrest, a Glock 19 brand pistol, caliber 9 millimeters, with number YR869, was seized from him.
As a result of the shooting, Rosa Arelis Tejada Tavárez (40 years old), Amanda María Peña Carvajal (28), Perla Maciel Calderón Ramírez (24), Jesús Manuel Gómez López (27), Sixto Lorenzo Batista Espinal (a) “Tuti” (38) and Ricauy Lebron Montero (38) were injured, all of whom suffered gunshot wounds to different parts of their bodies.
At the scene, six 9 millimeter caliber casings and two projectiles were collected, which were sent to the Scientific Police Department for analysis and ballistic comparison.
The Central Investigation Directorate (DICRIM), under the coordination of the Public Ministry, continues to deepen the investigations to precisely establish the circumstances of the incident and determine the possible participation of other parties involved.
