Police assures that murdered subject is Bolivian

Damián Cossío, 55, a native of Cochabamba, is the man who was murdered to bullets Monday night in an alley of the municipality of Puerto Quijarro, border with Brazil, according to a report by the Bolivian Police.

The Special Force to Fight Crime (Felcc) reported that The violent act took place around 9:00 p.m. on Monday in the Santa Ana neighborhood, in a dark alley of Puerto Quijarro. Police officers went to the scene alerted by neighbors who heard detonations of firearm shots. There they found the lifeless body of the man, who had at least 14 gunshot wounds in different parts of the body.

After a search, the police found casings of 9-millimeter caliber bullets at the scene, which were used to take his life violently.

According to the investigations carried out by Felcc, it is believed that the unfortunate man, of merchant occupation, was transferred alive by his executioners to that place to be victimized and abandoned.

The director of Felcc de Santa Cruz, Edson Claure, assured that there is an investigation aimed at finding the murderers who escaped from the scene in a motorized vehicle.

For the Police it is a violent event whose motives could be a settling of accounts.

The body of the victim will be transferred to the capital of Santa Cruz so that in the morgue he is subjected to the autopsy of law.
