In the first three weeks of November, the National Police—controlled by the Ortega-Murillo dictatorship—has arrested 1,160 citizens for driving without a license. These arrests can last between 24 and 72 hours, depending on whether you are a repeat offender.

In the weekly press conference he offers before official media, Vanegas alluded to the suspensions of driving licenses that have totaled so far this year.
