The National Police reported this Saturday the arrest of six individuals who engaged in armed robbery, accused of committing assaults and robberies in the Engombe sector of Santo Domingo Oeste, from whom two firearms were seized, including one that had been taken from a law enforcement officer.
The detainees are Cristian Alberto Espinosa (Chocolate), Rediel Alexander López, Jeremi Rafael Báez Peñaló (Pirulo), Wilfre Miguel Jaques, German Estiben and Joandy Ferrera Castillo, all residents in the Buenos Aires de Herrera sector. According to the Police, when questioned by the agents, they admitted that they engaged in assaulting people.
The institution of order specified the members of the band were actively pursued in response to various complaints filed by citizens through different channels, including the media.
This operation was led by the commander and deputy commander in Manoguayabo, Lieutenant Colonel Richard Del Rosario Familia, and Major Marcos De León Feliz.
