Police arrest several people, seize Hookahs, Vapes and firearm in SPM

San Pedro de Macoris.- Police officers attached to the Sub-Directorate of Investigations (Dicrim), the Preventive Police and the Lince Unit together with the Public Ministry, carried out three raids simultaneously, marked with Orders number 01928-2024, 01930-2024 and 01929-2024, in different entertainment centers and alcoholic beverage sales centers in this city, resulting in the seizure of Hookahs, Vapes and Firearms.

During the raids, (06) Hookahs of different colors, (13) Electronic Cigarettes (Vapes) of different colors and a pistol-type firearm, Arcus brand, caliber 9mm, black and gray, serial No. 23FG400688, with its charger and thirteen capsules for it, without valid documentation, were seized.

Ten people were also arrested for lack of documents and for investigation purposes, as well as three minors for drinking alcohol at the aforementioned entertainment centers.

The detainees and the seized items were placed at the disposal of the competent authorities for the corresponding legal purposes.
