Police arrest man accused of murder in Cristo Rey

Santo Domingo.- Agents of the National Police, attached to the Investigation Department (DICRIM), today arrested a wanted man accused of murder on January 4.

This is Daniel Ogando Soriano, 19 years oldresident in the Cristo Rey sector, of the National District, who is credited with having been one of the alleged perpetrators of cause death due to gunshot wound Yan Carlos Ramirez Viola, 30 years old, in the aforementioned neighborhood.

According to the preliminary report of the case, the victim suffered the injuries when he was supposedly stripped of his belongings by the defendant and three other people, who, until now, are still fugitives.

The person accused of participating in the aforementioned event was captured by judicial arrest warrant No.007-2023, where in the next few hours he will be made available to the Public Ministry, for the corresponding legal purposes.
