Santo Domingo.- The Police arrested the alleged perpetrators of the assault on a bioanalyst and her university student son, in an event that occurred on Saturday afternoon in the cemetery of the municipality of Tamayo, Bahoruco province of the Enriquillo region.
The detainees are Jeudy Manuel Feliz and Joan Alexander González, 18 and 19 years old, respectively, who reside in the municipality of Monserrate.
Both men were identified as the antisocials who stripped the medical professional and her son of their belongings, such as two cell phones, their wallets with personal documents, bank cards, and driver’s license.
The two youths committed the crime when, at about 06:00 in the afternoon, the doctor and her son were leaving the Tamayo cemetery, aboard a vehicle, from which they also took the key to turn it on.
However, members of the Investigation Branch (DICRIM) together with the Preventive Police, upon learning of the case, managed to locate and arrest the two assailants, identified by their victims, in record time.
In the next few hours they will be made available to justice, for the corresponding legal purposes.
