Police arrest 480 people in the last 72 hours

In the last 72 hours, the National Police arrested 480 people. Of these, 271 were arrested on official charges, 117 for administrative offences, 59 in flagrante delicto and 33 for drug trafficking.

95 search warrants were carried out and 17 firearms with 276 rounds of ammunition, six vehicles reported stolen and robbed, 469 packages of drugs and the sum of $61,575.30 in cash were seized.

In terms of traffic, 4,503 traffic tickets were issued, including 934 for speeding, 193 for improper lights, 66 for proven drunkenness, 42 for talking on a cell phone, 30 for expired licenses and 13 for alcohol in the breath. 182 vehicles were towed for various reasons.
