National Police agents avoided an assault on a furniture, located on the main street corner of the municipality of Villa La Mata, Sánchez Ramírez province, achieving the capture of four antisocials and the confiscation of two firearms, a vehicle and other belongings.
The detainees are Frandy Mejía Abreu (a) Fredery, 22; Natanael Díaz Amparo, 18; Wilmer Gutiérrez Betemir, 27, and Roberlyn Gómez Cruz (a) the barbarito, 29.
The incident occurred yesterday morning when they tried to assault the establishment. The rapid intervention of the Preventive Police, in coordination with the Investigation Division (DICRIM), allowed to initiate a persecution that culminated in the seizure of a Nissan Altima S vehicle, black, plate A754656, which was abandoned in the main street of the El Cacajar sector of Los Corozos.
Subsequently, in the gate of the Hatillo dam, Mejía Abreu and Díaz Amparo were arrested, both residents in the María Trinidad Sánchez province. When they were interrogated, they confessed that they had hidden two guns near a farm near the place where they left the vehicle.
Upon arriving at the indicated site, the agents found the weapons covered with dry leaves: a glock pistol, 40, black, with a charger and three capsules, series No. BKWM226; and another non -legible brand pistol, numbering G44025, black with nickelled details.

Mejía Abreu was occupied two portions of controlled substances (one of alleged marijuana and another of alleged crack), RD $ 2,250.00 in cash, two electronic cigarettes (vape) and a cell phone.
Diaz Amparo took the key to the vehicle, an electronic cigarette (vape), a cell phone, a perfume, a clock, and two keys.
Later, continuing with the capture work on the wall of the Hatillo dam, Gutiérrez Betemir and Gómez Cruz were arrested, both residents in the El Factor Municipal District, María Trinidad Sánchez province.
The detainees, together with the evidence occupied, will be made available to the Public Ministry for the corresponding legal purposes.
