Santiago de los Caballeros, DR.- The National Police activated this Monday the search for a Haitian citizen accused of causing the death by stab wound to an alleged Dominican antisocial in the municipal district of Cinnamon.
According to the police report, the incident occurred when Jose Amador Martinez, alias “Chipe John”, allegedly tried to assault the foreigner, who, in self-defense, used a machete, causing the injuries that caused Martínez’s death.
The report also notes that Amador Martinez had a history of recidivism in assaults and kept the town’s residents in constant worry.
The National Police continues to work on the search and identification of the perpetrator in order to arrest him and clarify the circumstances in which the incident occurred.
