Machu Picchu, one of the seven wonders of the modern world, is a destination that many dream of visiting. Located in the Cusco region, this ancient Inca city offers an unforgettable experience full of history, culture and natural beauty, which captivates both nationals and foreigners.
The young sports commentator, Cliver Huamán or ‘Pol Deportes’known for his passion for adventure and sports, decided to take a trip to this emblematic site. Upon arriving in Cusco, he was immediately captivated by the city’s vibrant atmosphere and rich cultural heritage.
Machu Picchu, known as ‘The Lost City of the Incas’, is a testament to the architectural ingenuity of the Inca civilization. ‘Pol Deportes’ was impressed when walking through the remains, admiring the precision with which the stones were placed hundreds of years ago.
Determined to live the full experience, Pol also chose to tour the famous Sacsayhuamán, which allowed him to experience first-hand the hard work that the Incas did in different parts of Cusco.

“One second you are waiting… the next you are in Machu Picchu. Peru always plays first (…) They say that there are places that feel more than what is explained, well, Sacsayhuamán is one of those,” quoted ‘Pol Deportes’ through their social networks.
Finally, ‘Pol Deportes’ commented that he had arrived at the Imperial City in order to narrate the meeting between Cusco FC and Sports University, to be played at the Inca Garcilaso stadium in La Vega last Saturday night.
