French international Paul Pogba, who had surgery on his right knee at the beginning of September, has resumed “partially” collective training with Juventus of Turin just under a month before the start of the 2022 World Cup (November 20 to December 18), his club announced on Tuesday.

The ‘Bleus’ star, who has not yet been able to play any official match since his return to Juventus during the last market“worked partially with the team”, according to the website of the bianconero club.

Pogba was injured at the end of July in the lateral meniscus of his right knee during a preseason game in the United States. At first he refused to have surgery but, due to the pain, he underwent surgery on September 5.

There is no date for his return yet. to the competition, but the Italian media indicate the possibility that he can play at the end of October or the beginning of November.

With a view to his participation in the World Cup, it is expected that the French coach Didier Deschamps announce his call-up on November 9. France will play its first World Cup match on November 22 against Australia.
