PODIUM and JW Marriott prepare young leaders in ‘Female Relay’

The “Female Relay: Promoting Future Leaders” event brought together 18 high school students in an event organized by PODIUM Communication Agency and the JW Marriott. The activity, which included interactive workshops, active breaks and testimonies, sought to strengthen the leadership, self-esteem and confidence of the participants, preparing them for future challenges.

Rosi González, CEO of PODIUM, highlighted that the objective was to offer employment and entrepreneurial options to students, aligning with the Gender Parity Initiative and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Nelson Castillo, from JW Marriott, emphasized the hotel chain’s commitment to gender equality and the promotion of female talent through professional internships.

The event was attended by prominent figures such as Karen Jordán and Ana Lucrecia Tovar, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Social Development and the schools involved. This initiative seeks to counteract the low female representation in management and business positions in Latin America, promoting the empowerment of young women for future leadership roles.
