Officials of the Bolivarian National Police Corps (CPNB) seized 55 kilos of marijuana in the Aragua state, the police institution reported on Saturday.
Police indicated that “two alleged members” of the Transnational Train of Aragua, who were identified as Nixon Miguel Lara and Xavier Ruiz, were arrested.
Meanwhile, the police units arrested two men in the Carabobo state in another operation for having more than 3,000 grams of “alleged marijuana”, four firearms and two 12 mm caliber cartridges, indicated the Directorate of Strategic and Tactical Actions (DAET) of the CPNB on Instagram.
The Daet also reported on the arrest of a man in the state of Táchira, who according to the police force had 1.62 kilos of “alleged marijuana”, 300 grams of “alleged cocaine” and 82 grams of “different wrappers”, Without specifying more details.
He also said that in that same period 753 “procedures” have been carried out in which 964 people have been arrested for “trying to traffic, trying to distribute” drugs in the country.
