PNB raided clandestine dental clinic

Officials from the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) raided a premises that served as an illegal dentistry clinic.

The establishment is located on Atamaica Street, Santa Rosalía Sector, house number 47, Libertador municipality (Maracay), Aragua state, according to the report of the Strategic Intelligence Division of the PNB.

During the procedure, Yetzys Kathanine Zambrano García was arrested and will be prosecuted for intrusion, usurpation of functions and unsanitary conditions.

At the premises, police officers seized dental equipment, including a tartrectome, two explorers, two tweezers, a defanger, 214 rubber bands, 12 spools of rubber bands, a mirror, two Zio White resins, a gel syringe of phosphoric acid and five packages of orthodontic wire.

They also confiscated ten packages of braces, a lamp with a Gnatus charger, a model of orthodontic teeth, an antibacterial gel, a mouthwash, a bottle of 70% alcohol, a cotton swab, a toothbrush, a dremel, a container with three surgical gloves in poor condition and a cell phone.

The 32nd Prosecutor’s Office of the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the District, Criminal Judicial of the state of Aragua, headed by Oscaily Nuñez, was in charge of the investigations.
