The drug division of the Bolivarian National Police discovered in the municipality of La Cañada de Urdaneta, Parish Chiquinquirá, Viejo Palmarés Sector, from the Zulia state, a clandestine laboratory allegedly used for the processing of illegal substances.
In the operation, the uniforms of the UNB, achieved the seizure of various evidence that confirm the criminal activity in the place. Among the elements were: 8 marijuana wrappers, with an approximate weight of 2 kilos 521 grams; 4 cocaine base wrappers, with an approximate weight of 2 kilos 536 grams; 22 gallons of muriatic acid, substance used in drug processing.
3 drums used in the storage of chemical substances were also seized; a plastic table used in the manipulation of narcotics; 2 bicarbonate bags, chemical compound commonly used in drug manufacturing; a shotgun type weapon; A weight and 3 adhesive ribbons, elements used in the packaging and distribution of narcotics.
“The finding of this clandestine center represents a hard blow to the criminal structures dedicated to drug trafficking in the region,” said this police force through a press release.
