Agents of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) destroyed a marijuana plantation in the Las Adjuntas Río Abajo sector, El Molino parish, Arzobispo Chacón municipality (Canaguá), Mérida state.
According to reports from the aforementioned security body, there were 181 cannabis sativa plants on the land, from which (when processed) the drug known as marijuana is derived. The police officers proceeded to dig up each one of the plants for incineration. In another area of the land, the agents located a seedbed with 18 plants of the aforementioned drug.

During the procedure, two people identified as Simón Sánchez Mora (58) and Freddy Mora Díaz (34) were arrested, who were handed over to the 16th Specialized Drug Prosecutor’s Office.
