PNB captured the leader of a drug distribution gang in Petare

Police agents arrested José Gregorio Viera, alias La Picha, leader of a drug distribution cell

In the Maca neighborhood, Petare, police officers arrested José Gregorio Viera, alias La Picha, head of a drug distribution cell, according to security organizations.

The procedure was carried out by officials attached to the Directorate of Strategic and Tactical Actions (Motorized) of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB), who made an approach in the Luis Hurtado alley of the aforementioned petareño sector.

There they captured La Picha, who is wanted for murder, and five of his associates, one of them identified as Alexander Gallegos Rodríguez.

At the time of the arrest of the subjects, the officials seized portions of different drugs.

The Public Ministry was informed of the procedure.

Alias ​​La Picha was wanted for homicide, kidnapping and drug trafficking.
