Santo Domingo-. During yesterday, Thursday, there were no deaths of citizens victims of crime in the country.
It is the third day that no deaths have been recorded from these causes, which coincides with the actions implemented by the National Police to prevent criminal acts.
In the last 72 hours, the Police have carried out great prevention work throughout the country, managing to arrest 221 people for different crimes.
As part of the proceedings, the authorities seized 17 firearms, an air pistol and a toy gun, 31 motorcycles, 13 vehicles and two trucks from the detainees.
The National Police, immersed in a profound transformation process on the instructions of President Luis Abinader, has optimized human resources and added new technologies to combat crime.
