Santo Domingo.- The National Police reported that under the coordination of the Public Ministry advances in the investigations to identify and capture those responsible for a social conflict that occurred early this Monday in the sector Herrera Liberator, Santo Domingo Oeste municipality, in which three recognized criminals were dead and another injured by gun projectiles.

According to the preliminary report, the deceased are José Eduardo Ciprián Lebrón (a) Chuki, 35; Luis Javier Santana Asencio, 38; and José Antonio Ovalles Martínez (a) Toni Paper, 47, who died from multiple gunshot wounds in different parts of the body. Meanwhile, José Adonis Pérez García, of legal age, receives medical care in the Dr. Marcelino Hospital Vélez Santana, where he was surgically intervened.

Preliminary investigations establish that Ciprián Lebrón and Pérez García moved in a black jeepeta down the street First of the Libertador de Herrera neighborhoodwhen they were intercepted by two men still in the process of identification, who shot them.
In the midst of the attack, Ovalles Martínez left his home when he heard the shots and was also reached by the aggressors, who undertook the flight. Santana Asencio was injured in the place and died on the way to the hospital.
During the investigative process different actions have been carried out, including cameras and interviews to several people.
Evidence collected
In the scene, members of the Scientific Police collected 13 9mm caliber caps as part of the evidence of the investigative process.
Police said that, when refined in the Planning and Control Command System (SPCC)the deceased appear with multiple criminal records.
