The National Police gave information this Tuesday about the six fugitives identified as responsible for kidnapping and murdering the married couple from La Guáyiga. He indicated that “they are heavily armed and therefore very dangerous.”
The National Police spokesman, Diego Pesqueira, urged those involved in the murder of Luis Miguel Jáquez Rodríguez and Elizabeth Almarante Pacheco to turn themselves in. He asked that they do it in the way they deem appropriate.
He maintained that up to now they cannot establish any hypothesis regarding what motivated the band to commit the crime. This is because they have not been able to find the whereabouts of the main person involved, the American citizen Dylan Alberto Ortiz.
Pesqueira indicated: “All these questions, about the circumstances and the motivations,” will come to light when the judicial process begins against the only one detained in this case. This is José Alberto Ventura Tupete, better known as El Inválido.
Escapees
In addition to Ventura Tupete and Alberto Ortiz, four other people are on the run for the double murder.
These are the brothers Eddy Manuel Alvarez Ramírez alias “Moreno” and José Miguel Alvarez Ramírez alias “Bebé”. Also Leonardo Alejandro Méndez Mojica alias “Nardo El Sicario”.
The National Police are also looking for “Guillermo the cousin” and a certain “Jeffrey”.
During a press conference at the National Police Palace, Diego Pesqueria indicated that all those involved have criminal records in the records of the institution of order.
It is recalled that the disappearance of the couple from La Guáyiga was reported on January 23 and two weeks later, on February 6, their bodies were found in a septic tank in the La Unión neighborhood, in the municipality of Los Alcarrizos.
The bodies they were wrapped in plastic bags, and tied up. They presented blows to their body and shots to the head.
