Award
Decree of May 2025, Governor Cláudio Castro instituted the payment of the bonus of R $ 5,000 per rifle of organized crime taken from circulation. The amount must be divided by the team if the seizure has been done by more than one agent.
“I created this bonus not only as a form of stimulating police officers, but also as a strategic action within the Plan for Reduction of Police Lethality. Last year, state security forces seized 732 rifles; this year only, the Military Police have seized more than 270.”
Castro also highlighted the need for changes in legislation, with the application of harsher penalties to criminals, bearing rifles, which are weapons considered of war.
