El Dorado issued new recommendations to address the high flow of travelers in December and avoid delays in registration and boarding.
El Dorado International Airport in B0gotá announced a series of recommendations for travelers during the holiday season, one of the busiest periods. air flow in Colombia.
The air terminal highlights that during these weeks a significant increase in national and international passengers is expected, including minors, older adults and users traveling with pets.
The objective is to guide those passing through the terminal to facilitate their transit and minimize setbacks in the processes prior to boarding.
Among the main indications, the airport recommends arriving with three hours in advance for international flights and with two hours for nationals. Please note that in Terminal 1, international departures operate through piers A and B, while domestic routes are located in C and D.
In Terminal 2 (former Air Bridge), intended for domestic flights, boarding takes place at piers H and G. These measures seek to avoid delays and congestion at control and registration points.

To expedite the passage through Immigration, it is suggested that Colombian passengers over 12 years of age traveling abroad complete the Biomig registration. This procedure can be completed by presenting the passport to the immigration officer at the point set up in Terminal 1.
In the case of foreign tourists, the process consists of only presenting their passport. The system aims to reduce waiting times in high demand seasons.
El Dorado recalled that travelers can rely on the virtual assistant ‘Dora’ through WhatsApp (+57 322 822 0300), a tool that provides real-time information about flights and orientation within the airport.
