The Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) developed during this weekend the process of renewal of all the addresses of its demarcation structures, as part of the process of opening to new leaderships and reorganization, agreed at the IX José Joaquín Bidó Medina Ordinary Congress.
The reports received this Saturday inform of the election in 165 municipal districts and that in the constituencies and municipalities they scheduled the election of their addresses for this Saturday and the provincial ones on Sunday.
“Fair progress was made on Friday, we await the reports on Saturday and Sunday,” said a dispatch from the Ministry of Communications of the PLDin which the electoral process in Electoral District One of the National District was reported.

The electoral assembly of the Dominican Liberation Party in Electoral District Number One (1) of the National District chose Ramon Rivas as president and the team that will accompany him in the direction of that demarcation.
The activity took place in the Bienvenido Sandoval Room of the Reinaldo Pared Pérez National House and was attended by the former President of the Republic, Danilo MedinaPresident of the PLD and past Presidential candidate, Gonzalo Castillomember of the Political Committee.
The calendar for the election of the demarcation addresses stipulates first the election of the Municipal District Offices, then the Municipal Offices, and Circumscriptions and finally the Provincial Offices on the 9th, 10th and 11th, respectively.
The one this Saturday at the national headquarters of the PLD corresponded to Electoral District One of the National District, the remaining two were scheduled for this Sunday.
As in the capital, all the country’s provinces reported to the General Secretariat the holding of the electoral assemblies in the municipal districts and municipalities, which have developed harmoniously and in which consensus among the participants has predominated.
Winston Santos, in his capacity as Liaison, was the one who presided over the assembly of EC 1 of the Capital and an electoral commission made up of Lidio Cadet, representing the Political Committee, Zoilo Guzmán of Electoral Affairs, Marius de León of Organization and the President of the PLD in the National District, Radhamés Segura.
Segura delegated to Winston Santos the moderation of the assembly, which he began by explaining the procedure to be followed for the election of the demarcation address, proceeding to listen to the proposals.

Radhamés Segura, in his capacity as President of the PLD in capital, when reading the selected ones, highlights the prevailing harmony in the assembly and that the consensus among the leaders of the PLD prevailed, who reaffirm the fundamental goal of the PLD, to achieve the victory of Abel Martínez in the first round in the 2024 elections.
