Yesterday, the Political Committee of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) chose a follow-up commission that will work closely with the candidates for the presidential candidacy to organize a route of their activities jointly with the organization.
This commission is made up of Francisco Javier García, its coordinator, Lidio Cadet, Alejandrina Germán, Radhamés Camacho, Ramón Ventura Camejo and José Ramón (Monchy) Fadul, who already have a work path along with the organizational aspects in charge of the National Organizing Commission of the Consultation (CONAP).
“This commission has been designated with the due consensus of the candidates to organize with them, among others, the activity “PLD speaks” so that they present their proposals in a dynamic that includes the Party’s militancy,” said Charles Mariotti, secretary general of the PLD, at the end of the meeting of the Political Committee yesterday.
He specified that there are multiple activities that are planned with which it will be clearly established “that the PLD is one and that whoever is triumphant will surely occupy the Presidency of the Republic as of August 2024.”
Mariotti, together with Alejandrina Germán, Johnny Pujols and Alexis Lantigua, explained that the meeting gave continuity to the agenda of the suspended meeting on Monday, June 6.
He said that a comprehensive report on the progress of the consultation scheduled for October 16 had been received.
In the aspect of party reorganization, in charge of the Commission for the Implementation of the Organizational and Electoral Line, the reports of the advances in the validations of organisms and of the complete Intermediate Committees to be sworn in were received.
“Leaders and militants of our party are making efforts to advance the organizational schedule for the October consultation,” he said.
