Plaza Izazaga 89 closes after operation and complaint for domain extinction

Ebrard reported that during Thursday’s operation, in the Izazaga 89 building, 262,334 items from Bangladesh, China, Malaysia, Vietnam and Indonesia were seized, with an estimated value of 7.5 million pesos.

He highlighted that the seized merchandise – from brands such as Disney, Marvel and Nintendo – not only entered the country illegally, but also failed to comply with economic and licensing regulations, evading applicable legal provisions.

Plaza Izazaga is a multi-story building with at least 40 stores per floor, known for offering Chinese products at affordable prices. In addition, it was known because it was sold wholesale, through cash operations and without an invoice or receipt.
