The General Directorate of Customs (DGA) and the General Directorate of Internal Revenue (DGII) reported today that, due to suspicion of practices that undermine the legitimate tradecarry out audits on three companies that import goods from China.

- Hope Square by ZZBQ SRL
- WERAYO SRL Commercial
- Hope Square by BZHE SRL
Luis Valdez Veras, general director of the DGII, and Eduardo Sanz Lovatón, director of the DGA, reaffirmed their commitment to protect the legitimate trade and ensure that those who break the law do not go unpunished.
Through a statement, they emphasized the importance of these actions within the framework of the joint strategy to combat the tax evasion and unfair competition.
Audits are carried out in accordance with the Tax Code in force and the Customs Law 168-21, together with its implementing regulations.
The document explains that the visits and audits They are carried out after exchanging information between both institutions.
Warning from the authorities
Companies that do not present findings in contravention of current regulations may continue their operations. In contrast, those that are detected with anti-commercial practices and tax will face the sanctions stipulated by national laws.
