Plaza Baquedano woke up intervened in the framework of the commemoration of 8M: "For the life they owe us"

The base of the monument where the statue of General Baquedano was located -in the homonymous square- woke up with an intervention by the Feminist Coordinator in the framework of the commemoration of a new 8M.

The cement block was painted purple, the female symbol was also drawn and a message was written on the side of the base: “For the life they owe us.”

protocols

From the Coordinator they communicated about the safety and health protocols to carry out in the calls.

“Physical safety and health protocol are suggestions to march and demonstrate calmly. That’s why let’s not forget that we are still in a pandemic, so the mask and the distance are central,” they said.

  • Carry gel alcohol and use it constantly, especially if you will touch your eyes or mouth.
  • Wear the mask well (cover the nose and mouth).
  • If you’re going to sneeze, use your forearm.
  • Keep a tissue away.
  • Do not go if you have any respiratory symptoms (cough, chest pressure), headache, diarrhea, fever, loss of smell, loss of taste or muscle discomfort for no apparent reason.
  • Wear more than one mask in case it gets wet and throw them away in suitable places or store them in a tightly closed bag.
