Athletico-PR defeated Rio Branco 2-0, this Thursday (10th) at Arena da Baixada, in Curitiba. To achieve victory in the 6th round of the Campeonato Paranaense, Hurricane chose to field its main team, as until then it was only playing with the team of aspirants.

With the 3 points added at home, Athletico-PR was in the 7th position of the classification with 10 points, three less than the leader Operário.
Athletico-PR’s victory began to be built in the 20th minute, when Abner took a corner and Léo Cittadini arrived beating first, placed, to overcome the opposing goalkeeper. Still in the first half, at 38, Hurricane scored the second, now with Davi Araújo.
Athletico-PR’s next challenge in the competition will be on Sunday (13), against Azuriz.
