The home team built the victory in the opening stage of the match, first in the 22nd minute with a beautiful goal from full-back Marcos Vinícius, who left an opponent sitting with a dribble at the edge of the area before hitting a low shot that beat goalkeeper Saulo.
The second goal came in the 44th minute, when midfielder Giovanni took advantage of a loose ball in midfield to strike hard and give the final score.
