Racing Club suffered a painful elimination from the Argentine Cup against Agropecuario
Platense was the only leader of the 2022 League Tournament after becoming the only team to achieve two wins in as many appearances, while Boca Juniors and Racing Club suffered respective defeats as a visitor against Central Córdoba De Santiago del Estero and Godoy Cruz de Mendoza.
Platense, whose main objective this semester is to maintain the category, won this Sunday as a visitor 0-1 against Vélez Sarsfield with Iván Gómez’s solitary goal, in a duel marked by the return of Mauro Zárate to the José Amalfitani Stadium with the ‘Calamar’ jersey.
This Sunday also marked the defeat of Boca Juniors in their visit to Central Córdoba in Santiago del Estero with a goal from Francisco González Metilli, while Agustín Rossi once again contained a penalty showing his great qualities in this area.
