This Saturday, May 27, in the morning, a catastrophic accident occurred that left two people dead on the runway of the renowned Maturín International Airport, José Tadeo Monagas.
According to official sources, one of the fatalities is identified as Dagoberto Valdez, a pilot with many years of experience who built the Águilas Pilot school, while the other unfortunate person is York Alejandro Romero, a student at the school, the incident occurred when they were doing work of practice.
Apparently the ship was turned off and rushed. The impact alerted area residents and air port workers.
Aeronautical firefighters came immediately to attend to the situation.
Neighbors highlighted that a cloud of black smoke accompanied the thunderous noise generated by the impact of the aircraft with the ground.
