Plan to Reinforce Security in the Caracas Metro

A total of 58 people have been detained since the Security Reinforcement Plan began in the Caracas Metro System, the Minister for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace, Remigio Ceballos, said Thursday.

«The Special Reinforcement Plan for the Caracas Metro System, ordered by our Commander in Jeffe @NicolasMadurohas made it possible to capture 58 criminals, raise awareness among 2,385 citizens who broke the rules, seize 4 firearms and 5 facsimiles, and recover 4 stolen phones,” he wrote on the social network.

In this operation, which began last April, more than 1,100 police officers and risk management system officials are deployed.

This plan, Ceballos explained, is intended to “put all criminals before the courts and guarantee the peace of mind” of the people who use the system. Caracas Subway.

“Remember that we are working for the Peace of all! and against sabotage. We maintain the deployment of 1,100 police officers and the risk management system, to bring all criminals to justice and guarantee the tranquility of the People in the Metro CCs!”, Ceballos emphasized.

It should be remembered that this plan includes 48 stations and 21 operating cars on three lines.

The purpose is to provide greater security to those who use underground transport.
