The Power of attorney admitted for processing the appeal presented by the owner of the Sarratea house in Breña, Segundo Alejandro Sánchez Sánchez, and four others investigated with an arrest warrant, against this measure issued as part of the investigation against the alleged criminal organization headed by Pedro Castle.
The Third Criminal Court of Appeals admitted the appeal in which Segundo Sánchez, as well as Salatiel Marrufo Alcántara, Jenin Abel Cabrera, Edin Viton Burga and Auner Vásquez Cabrera seek to declare the nullity of the preliminary arrest for ten issued against them.
It should be remembered that this measure, which was carried out on October 11, ended with the arrest of five people, while Sánchez Sánchez remains in hiding and, as he explained on social networks, the person under investigation does not plan to turn himself over to justice.
“For security reasons, it was arranged that the detainees participate in the hearing virtually”reported the Judiciary.
Five of the six investigated against whom the preliminary arrest was approved question the resolution of Judge Víctor Zúñiga Urday who admitted the request of the Public Ministry, considering that the request is not proportional and is based on an improper analysis of the elements of conviction.
Of all those investigated with preliminary detention, only Biberto Castillo León did not file an appeal against the measure.
